I fell in love with windsurfing in 1984. I was 12 years old and had just moved nearby a lake in Pennsylvania.
To just be on the water, feel a breeze in my sail and the splash under my board; this was my heaven.
This led to higher wind and a lifetime of work in the industry, but I never forgot those first years.
It brings me great personal joy that winging returns to that simple fun on the water.
From a first flight, loving the surf, or gliding downwind, I want the same performance;
ease of use to get going, and a seamless transition from light power to gliding.
I feel like so much of this relatively new sport is already racing toward
more power, faster speeds, higher jumps, crazier freestyle.
In contrast, I design my wings for the simple joy of effortless flight
over the water with the lightest possible feel in my fingertips.
I hope you’ll love them as much as I do.

I love this 4m wing. It’s got good low wind grunt and flags well. Your handles are the best too.

We are all definitely fond of the current W2 handles and we don’t like the really hard handles used by several brands. The hard handles bother me during transitions and are annoying during starts. All wings using them seem heavier due to the heavier construction to support and attach them. The W2 handles are a perfect crossover between the hard handles and the soft loop handles, they are appreciated by adepts of both and they don’t add weight and that is the most important. A friend added this comment: The sweetness of the sport is gone with hard handles.

I finally got to try the 5.5 wing today, and it was really magical, way better than any other wing I’ve ever tried!

Greg. You never disappoint!! The wings are powerful and light weight yet beefy and sturdy. The handles are really innovative. Was easily on plane with 1-2 pumps. Really steady in the gusts too. Easy pump up and take down. Folded up tight. Thank you so much. I thought your kites were great. You really did your homework on the wings. You seem to have been able to combine the best qualities of all the wings Out there.

Aloha Greg, Just wanted to give you feedback on the cloud wings. Amazing! The biggest revelation is how easy they are on my body. Before I had to ride with a harness to give my arms a break, and sometimes rest completely, or go kite foiling instead. It took a few sessions to get there, but with the cloud wing, not only could I ditch the harness, but also have been able to wing 6 out of the last 7 days, including two long 20 - 30 knot sessions this weekend, without any of the same issues I had before. I'm not sure if it's because of the ergonomic handles, the handle placement, or the way the wing tends to pull at a more upwind angle, or a combination of these. I'm also finding I'm getting going way sooner. Maybe I'm getting a bit better at getting up, but I'm finding the Cloud wings seem fly close to a size bigger than the wings I had flown before. I'm able to ride the same size wings as the I would fly cloud kites, and that's with a general preference to be on the smallest kite I can get away with. As for the handling, wings are very nice to fly, smooth and predictable, both powered and flagged. So overall I'm delighted with the wings and very grateful to be able to fly them. Stoked! :)

I’ve been absolutely LOVING my 4, 5, and 6! I am extremely impressed by your ability and foresight to design a wing that is an improvement upon everything else on the market in every way! I have to admit, I was a little unsure about the huge leading edge (especially on the 5 and 6), but seeing how they beautifully and smoothly lift you (continue to provide lift) as you turn upwind while tacking - I am sold! They literally “lift” me through my tacks and it feels amazing compared to the _ I was riding. The large leading edge turns it into a nice thick airfoil for slower speeds (as a life long pilot I appreciate this) and lighter winds…and the stiffness is an added bonus! Seriously, genius! Just perfect.

Hello Greg, I had my first session today on the Cloud wing 6M and I must tell you how happy I am to have switched to a BRM! It is so stable and balanced, powerful but easy to control and de power, goes up wind so well. And, I am so much more relaxed riding with it that I no longer strain my back! It is better than I imagined it would be! Extremely stoked! Mahalo for creating such a fun high performance wing!

Took out the 4 m and was majorly overpowered, but holy moly that thing can really go up wind! Power delivery is super smooth tons of low end power. Really really happy and excited to try out the 3 m! Thanks so much

Hi Greg, I wanted to follow up with why I didn’t order the 4 meter cloud wing that I had requested earlier. The reason is that the 3 M has become my light wind wing. It’s amazing. So much low end. I’m using a (something else) 3 M for high wind. It has a similar shape very roughly to the cloud but isn’t as stable and doesn’t have the low end. But it works for mid 20s up. As for my consternation about getting a second handle, you were right. All I need is the existing handle and the wing is so comfortable and stable. I just needed to get further along the learning curve. Maybe you should have said to me, “Patience grass hopper.”

I used the 5m yesterday for the first time. The wing has a great power band, is extremely well built, light and stiff. It behaves very well powered and in luff. Goes great to windward. The handles are pure genius, I hope you have your patent attorney putting that design on lock down. The handles are very comfortable, position is correct. The leash is comfortable and long enough to get thru tacks and gybes.

Good morning Greg, The Cloud W1 5m is now officially my favourite wing and the best I have actually flown. No flex, super aerodynamic, pulls like truck, can turn the power off ...... you really aced it. I kicked off in 12 to 25 knot conditions, I just got straight onto the foil with wing and board pumping, easy as. In the big gusts I simply had to pull on the power and off I went. No dramas tacking or gybing. Losing the power in the bigger gusts was so easy. Going upwind was quite fantastic... My general impression is the 5m Cloud is roughly equivalent to a 6m... Brilliant work, now I just need to save some money for more.

Hey Greg congrats on the wing used 2 times now and its amazing. Granted I’ve only done it like 6 times total. But this has more direct feel, playful, predictable, light. Just sits there when im on a wave….. Was able to Catch 50 waves in span id normally catch 5 on the prone foil. Really enjoyable….thanks again……!!!!

Aloha Greg! Just to let you know that they arrived today. I managed to squeeze a late afternoon session in 10-12 mph wind. I pumped up the 5m and WOW! What an awesome wing it is. Way more powerful than my brother’s ... 6m (he was out winging too and we switched wings a couple of times) and easier to pop on foil too. The canopy is really tight and the leading edge is amazing stiff so when you pump the wing you immediately pop on the foil. It might sound a little bit funny but that wing trims more like a windsurf sail than a wing when going upwind, the handles were a little bit spread apart for me, but I guess I just have to get used to it. Managed to grab a few sets on one of the outer reefs and the wing just went into neutral and handled unlike anything I’ve ridden so far, pure bliss. Keep up the good work!

I've now ridden every size but mostly the 3M. They are great, lots of power and rigidity. Love the handles and the pulled in wing tips! A 3M cloud is substantially more powerful than ...

Hi Greg, I had a 90 minute maiden voyage on my 3 m wing today. In general, everything was great and as you had described. The wing is light, has excellent low end power, and is EXTREMELY stable. The overall shape makes flipping the wing in the water super easy. Overall, it was a super experience and I loved the wing. The Cloud Wing flies extremely well with my arms straight out from my body (Wing parallel to my body) as opposed to at a 45 degree angle with other wings. This is awesome! It may be a minor miracle for my shoulders, probably due to ability to fly well with my arms at 90 degrees but maybe also with the natural position of both arms straight. After all my prior wing sessions on non-cloud wings, my shoulders (particularly my left one which is the worst) have been quite sore after winging for one hour. Today I was winging for a solid 90 minutes on the Cloud Wing and my shoulders are not sore at all!!

Hi Greg, We wanted to let you know that we used the new wings today. We loved them. I like how the hand holds were in the exact right spot for power. We have tried four different brands and these were the easiest to handle by far. Like your kites, they respond directly to your hands, as if the wings/kites can read your mind. Thanks again for improving our play time on the water.
