The following descriptions from Greg are comparisons intended to be tools that you can use to calibrate for your individual, current riding variables.

The low-end range fade is variations in board, foil and technique effectiveness, and water conditions.

The high-end range fades into increasingly high power load. The L1 does not have the raw depower of the S3, so it pulls harder, but in a manageable, effective, upwind direction.
